Posted on 21 November 2016 by Marian Padure

Presenter: George Cernucan, Motivation Foundation, Cluj team

Where and when: Office for Students with Disabilities, Dormitory III (ground floor, back entrance), Hașdeu Student Complex, Wednesday, 23 November 2016, starting at 18:00. Admission is free.

During this Information Evening, students will have the opportunity to get to know and learn more about Motivation Foundation’s activities and programs dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with motor disabilities. Together with the wheelchair instructor, wheelchair handling techniques, transfers and overcoming obstacles, as well as the needs of a person in a wheelchair will be presented.

The UBB Office for Students with Disabilities operates within the UBB Rector’s office, with the objectives of facilitating and supporting the inclusion of students with diverse learning needs in university life, as well as informing teachers and students about accessibility and disability. In this direction, BSD offers a series of educational events on accessibility (physical and social), some of them with the participation of foundations, associations and institutions (national and international) actively involved in ensuring a barrier-free life for people with disabilities.

We look forward to seeing you.
