The BBU Disabled Students’ Office operates within the BBU Rector’s Office, with the objectives of facilitating and supporting the inclusion of students with diverse learning needs in university life, as well as informing teachers and students about accessibility and disability. In this direction, OSD offers a series of educational events on accessibility (physical and social), some of them with the participation of foundations, associations and institutions (national and international) actively involved in ensuring a barrier-free life for people with disabilities.

During this workshop, held by psycho-pedagogist Dr. Roxana Cziker (Director of the Special High School for the Visually Impaired), the workshop will address the ways of orientation and mobility of a blind person and how to guide visually impaired people when accompanied. Also, BBU students (with and without disabilities) will learn about how visually impaired people write and what tools they can use. The presentation will be followed by a demonstration visit to the working premises of the Special High School for the Visually Impaired (presentation of the working tools and demonstration of their use).

We look forward to seeing you!
